Do you have an Item Limit for consignors?

No! NOT AT THIS TIME! This is our first event in The Lake & Cook Region and we welcome your items. Please bring only your quality items that are in excellent condition.

What are my Consignor Options regarding printing bar codes at home

You can print your bar codes at home but they must be in color. You can put the tags on at home. As long as they are checked in thoroughly when you arrive at the event, your items will be guaranteed. You will need to have your items in numeric order for check in.

What kind of items are you accepting for this event?

This will be our SPRING/SUMMER EVENT ~ Bring your spring and summer items -Light weight pants and shirts, shorts and T-shirts, Swim wear, shoes, sandal, athletic wear, dresses, skirts and tops. Toys, bikes, scooters etc. We accept clothing sizes newborn - juniors. Junior girls up to size 15 and XL tops. NO WOMEN'S CLOTHING. Boys sizes up to 32 waist and men's medium shirts. **JUNIOR CLOTHING NEEDS TO LOOK YOUTHFUL. Our shoppers are boys who have young men bodies and girls who have young ladies bodies.

What Kind of Toys do you accept?

Toys that are in excellent condition. They must be clean and complete with all working parts and pieces. Toys for infants to young teens. This includes Books to bicycles. If they are battery operated, the batteries need to work.

What is the best way to market books?

Books can be put into Zip Lock bags that should only contain the same age level of reading material. Do not combine books for different age groups or genders.

What is the best way to market clothing?

1.) MAKE OUTFITS. Clothing does not need to be of the same brand to make it an outfit. 2.) GROUP LIKE ITEMS; Group 2 shirts with a pair of pants, or 2 tops with a skirt, put 2 or 3 pair of pants together, 2 or 3 shorts together and sell them as a unit. Use rubber bands to keep the hangers together. These will sell much better than single items.

How do I secure small pieces with Toys or Equipment?

Place them in a ziploc bag and then seal the ziploc with clear packing tape. This is important!

When I sell items in a ziploc bag, how do I attach the price tag?

First, be sure to affix the barcode label to the string tag; do not stick it directly onto the item or the bag. Then attach the string tag to the item and tag inside the bag. Make sure the tag is visible.

How do I carry my clothes while I am shopping?

We suggest you bring a laundry basket or tote, a large shopping bag, or a stroller. All large bags will need to be checked at the door.

What if my item is not worth your minimum price guideline of $3.00?

If it meets our "excellence quality" standards, then group it together with one or two more like items. Pin them together on a hanger, or group them in a ziploc bag and put one price for the entire group.

Should I iron my clothes?

ABSOLUTELY! Wrinkled clothes do not sell for as much as nicely pressed clothes! Please do what is necessary to make your clothes look clean and nice. Remember, the better they look, the better they sell!

Can I enter additional batches?

Yes, you may enter additional batches. Consignors are charged the consignor fee of $15.00 per consignor number. .

Do you sell furniture?

Yes. Most of the furniture displayed in the Furniture Nook is sold in the first two days of our events. Contact about bringing larger furniture items and read more about what items are not accepted before listing furniture for the sale.

Will you be accepting CRIBS at this event?

We will NOT accept any cribs manufactured before Dec 31, 2010. For cribs manufactured between Dec 31, 2010, and June 28, 2011, we can accept them if they have a certificate of compliance and have not been recalled. For cribs manufactured after June 28, 2011, we can accept them if they have not been recalled.
